Our story
We’re a small, family-run business who collectively has over 25 years of accounting experience. Much of that time was spent working for “The Man,” so when Carl decided to strike out on his own; Lara, of course, welcomed the transition, and Ferris is here for the kibble.
After spending a lifetime working with and for clients of enormously different sizes and industries, we’ve developed an eye for seeing exactly what each person or entity needs to run their operations smoothly and lucratively. Our niche is finding the best “next step,” which, to a lot of folks, can be overwhelming in a world of finance where everything needs to be digitised, reported, integrated, and synced.
When it came to starting BiGRoC, we also wanted to do things a bit differently. Dry, traditional, stand-offish-style accountancy really doesn’t appeal to us, and we figured it wasn’t going to appeal to people we hoped would become our clients either. With BiGRoC, we’re trying to create a people-centric practice that looks for solutions and ways to do your weird and wonderful stuff instead of telling you all the reasons you can’t. Don’t think, though, that this means we’re going to be hassling you with daily inspirational quotations robbed off the net. No, it’s more of a we’re here when and how you need us, but the rest of the time you can get back to whatever it is that pays your bills and fills your life with joy.
What else do you need to know about us? Well, we’re fully qualified, we have the work capacity of 10 strongly caffeinated men, and we’re good at what we do.
